This is how we process your personal data
The Somali Youth Association in Sweden SUIS has very little personal information about you and handles your information very carefully.
The new data protection legislation, GDPR, which came into force on 25 May 2018, aims, among other things, to strengthen the individual's right to their data. Therefore, you have the right to know what we do with your data, for what purposes we process your data, how long we store them and who takes part in the data.
SUIS has registers with the names and e-mail addresses of members and former members of the union, in some cases also the address and / or telephone number. All information has been provided by you in connection with you contacting the association regarding any of the association's events.
The purpose of the register is only to be able to inform about the union's activities therefore
SUIS does not disclose your information.
SUIS always processes your personal data in accordance with applicable law. We process your personal data in connection with the marketing of our activities or information on issues concerning the Somali Youth Union.
According to GDPR, you have a number of rights which follow below.
You have the right to receive a register extract free of charge once a year from us.
We must respond to your request without undue delay, and within one month at the latest.
You are also entitled to a correction if some of the information we process is incorrect or needs to be supplemented with regard to the purpose for which we processes the information.
You also have the right to have your data that we process deleted.
